The program focuses on art direction and advertising production. It aims to impart skills in idea generation, concept and creative strategy development. Students will examine the creative processes involved in advertising production, analyze agency creative briefs, plan strategy and develop creative concepts. Students will develop an understanding of advertising art direction as a practice and craft and the issues that surround art direction in contemporary global advertising. Portfolio projects will focus on the production of radio and TV commercials for a variety of brands.
